The story follows Elias, a survivor hardened by a decade of life in a zombie apocalypse. Just as death seems inevitable, he awakens in an alternate world that's equally harsh and unforgiving. In this new realm, Elias discovers an enigmatic system that grants him extraordinary abilities and dangerous quests.Harnessing the power to control the dead, Elias transforms from prey to predator, building an army of the fallen under his command. However, he soon realizes he’s merely a pawn in a cosmic game orchestrated by unfathomable entities. Determined to break free from their grip, Elias embarks on a perilous journey, facing monumental challenges while confronting the haunting shadows of his past. For fans of fantasy, and protagonists who walk the line between hero and anti-hero, Pawn of the Gods is an enthralling and unforgettable read.

Its a pretty solid book. Not alot of grammatical errors which is great. Story is pretty solid, characters are generally interesting. Sometimes the plot can be aggravating, but it makes up for it with good moments. The biggest flaw in the book in my estimation, is the fights. Every detail of the fight is painstakingly described. Now I suppose if that is your thing, you enjoy that and more power to you. However, I find it to be tedious and cumbersome. When you tell the story of a fight to someone you dont describe every tension of the muscles to them, why? Generally because you dont remember, adrenaline blurs the details. The other reason is because the point of the fight is not the fight.A fight is a vehicle by which the story advances, spending half the chapter, sometimes multiple chapters on a fight, actually dulls the tension and lessens the payoff. Make no mistake I recommend the book. Its a good read with good characters, the flaw I raised is one of the few it has so give it a try.

The more I read this book, the more addicted I became. I can't believe how this book doesn't have over a million views already. This is a must-read book, a gem in an island of trash.

"Please sir, do not kill my father, I will take responsibility for it," said the Princess of the Sword, appearing near Gold. his black eyes staring at Gold earnestly, his blond hair swaying in the wind, usually very much like the Holy of Sword.
